Eligibility criteria
- Your company is UAE based or you are looking to set up your business here in the near future.
- Can your innovation bring value to the UAE (i.e. create jobs, help the economy).
- Can your innovation demonstrate its potential social impact (see focus areas).
- Is your novel technique, product, process or service more than just an idea (i.e. you have your product or service developed).
- Does your business has market potential (adequate level of transferability, sales value and sales revenue).
Benefits
- Support with funding and finance (helping you access affordable finance through the provision of a government-backed guarantee, based on evaluation of a project’s needs). Grants from USD 272,250 to USD 2.7 million;
- Emirate Development Bank loans of up to seven years to MBRIF participants at interest rates ranging between 7-9 %;
- Coaching and access to markets and clients.
